- Data Security
3.1 We do not hold any of your information. Any information is held securely by the third party tools we use. These include Google Analytics (used on www.theracingapp.co.uk) and OneSignal used in our iOS and Android apps (see section 8).
- Device Identifiers
4.1 Our Apps require access to applicable device identifiers on your mobile device including: UDID, Mac address, or other.
- Accessing Your Data
5.1 We will provide you with a summary of any information that we hold on you upon your written request. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org and provide your full postal address and postcode.
5.2 You can also request that the information that we hold about be deleted. However, this may mean that we can no longer provide you with the products or services that you wish to receive.
6.1 What is a "Cookie"?
"Cookies" are small pieces of information that are issued to your computer when you enter a website. Cookies are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive, and they can be used for a wide range of purposes, such as identifying your computer's previous visits to the Site, and to ascertain the most popular features of the Site. Cookies cannot be used by themselves to identify you.
6.2 Types of cookie & the information we collect.
We use two types of cookies on the Site: Session Cookies are temporary cookies that are erased when you leave the Site. They allow you to carry information across pages of the Site without having to re-enter this information. Session cookies do not collect information from your computer. Persistent Cookies are stored on the hard drive of your computer until they expire and how long will depend on the expiry date of each specific cookie or until you delete them. They enable us to identify your computer when you visit this Site and to collect identifying information about you, such as web surfing behaviour or user preferences.
6.3 What use do we make of the information we collect?
We use the information we collect from you to compile anonymous aggregated statistics using information provided by cookies to develop a clearer picture of which parts of the Site are the most popular to its visitors.

_ga: This cookie name is associated with Google Universal Analytics. It is used to distinguish unique users by assigning a randomly generated number as a client identifier. It is included in each page request in a site and used to calculate visitor, session and campaign data for the sites analytics reports. By default it is set to expire after 2 years. The main purpose of this cookie is: Performance
__cfduid: This cookie is associated with sites using CloudFlare and is used to speed up page load times. According to CloudFlare it is used to override any security restrictions based on the IP address the visitor is coming from. It does not contain any user identification information. The main purpose of this cookie is: Strictly Necessary
- Push Notifications
7.1 Our iOS and Android app ‘The Racing App’ uses push notification technology to send occasional messages about tips and app updates if you have previously chosen to opt in to receiving notifications when you first launched the app.
7.2 If at any time you wish to opt out or opt in to receiving notifications you'll find a link to this Notifications page under the 'Tools' tab in 'Settings'.
7.4 We collect information about you if you have previously chosen or subsequently choose to receive push notifications from The Racing App. This data includes the following:
- Push Status - whether your device has push notifications enabled or disabled
- Mobile Carrier
- Device Operating system
- Device Model
- Device Language
- Time Zone
- App Version
- Top applications - whether you have specific popular other applications installed on your device
- Your application identifier - the package name of your mobile application
- Number of sessions, and session dates and times
